These days, I have been making heads and small objects, to later construct some wall hanging artworks.
I like having many small objects lying on the work table. They inspire me with their placements and arrangements around the heads. - as if there are stories to be found...!
I do love not knowing the final outcome until the very end!
"Eyes closed" - the most recent one. Resting on an empty frame on the wall.
"Eyes closed" to be hung on the wall as a free and loose piece...
"Eyes closed" Overall look.
"Childhood". It's about the innocence.
Porcelain pieces stitched on a vintage doily I like the tiny hand.
"Face with a distant memory" Only eyes are glazed.
"Playful blue moon"
Just placing objects to see what works best...
My week end started with having 5 colleagues over for drinks, dinner and making something with clay! It was a great fun!
Hope your week end was a nice one too!

Stefanie, so happy that you visited my Etsy shop :) Thank you so much for your encouragements! x
ReplyDeleteHi Erin,
ReplyDeleteI love all of your little clay pieces and the fact that you don't know how things will turn out - I think that is the scariest and best part of making art!
Great to see you going from 3D to 2D as well. And having fun, no doubt!
